On October 21, 2024, the Knights of Rizal (KOR) inaugurated a new chapter, HEART (Honoring and Educating the Arts of Rizal Teachings), at a grand ceremony held at Casa Maria in Bauan, Batangas. This significant event, which underscores the organization’s commitment to preserving the teachings of Dr. Jose Rizal, was graced by distinguished members of the Order.
The HEART Chapter, focused on promoting Rizal’s values through the arts and education, is led by a dedicated group of officers. Heading the chapter is Sir Virgilio Cuizon as Chapter Commander, supported by Sir Remo T. Valenton as Deputy Commander, Sir Frederick Epistola as Chancellor, Sir Abelardo Perez Jr. as Pursuivant, Sir Joseph Albao as Exchequer, Sir Luther Eroa as Auditor, Sir Aris C. Bagtas as Archivist, Sir Loriel Castillo as Deputy Pursuivant, Sir Jerwind Magnaye, and Sir Victor Panopio as officers.
The event also saw the presence of notable leaders, including Sir Raymond Del Rosario, KGOR, Supreme Commander, who officially chartered the chapter, and Sir Paul C. Bilaoen, KGOR, Executive Director. Other key figures such as the Regional Commander and Area Commander Congressman Marino further highlighted the importance of the occasion.
With the HEART Chapter now officially part of the Knights of Rizal, it will stand as a pillar of patriotism, cultural preservation, and education, continuing Rizal’s legacy through the arts and inspiring future generations.
