Bauan
Bauan’s Sublian Festival is a vibrant and culturally rich celebration that honors the Mahal na Poong Sta. Krus of both Bauan and Alitagtag, exemplifying the deep devotion and faith of the local community. The festival begins with a solemn mass at Binukalan Shrine in Alitagtag, symbolizing unity among devotees from both towns. The joyous procession of the Holy Cross back to Bauan is accompanied by enthusiastic crowds, carrying candles and showering the route with flowers. The Sublian Festival showcases the town’s cultural heritage through the traditional Subli dance, performed by various groups. At the Immaculate Conception Parish Church’s patio, another mass and the rhythmic Subli dance continue the fervent celebration, fostering pride, unity, and cherished memories among its participants each year.
